Revelation: The Bible, Creation And Story Of First Man Not True - Isreali Press Claims

An Isreali Newspaper Haaretz has cast doubt over the authenticity of the stories written about the creation of man with its headlined article titled: “Is the Bible a true story.”
The Newspaper further wrote, “Despite feverish searching with Scripture in one hand and cutting-edge technology in the other, evidence backing the Bible remains elusive.”
According to the papers acclaimed research, “No evidence of the events described in the Book of Genesis has ever been found. No city walls have been found at Jericho, from the appropriate era, that could have been toppled by Joshua or otherwise. The stone palace uncovered at the foot of Temple Mount in Jerusalem could attest that King David had been there; or it might belong to another era entirely, depending who you ask.”
As theologians continue to question the truthfulness of religion and existence of God, or gods for decades, what the Bible teaches about the creation of Adam and Eve is seen a hypothesis. But neither science theory about man’s creation could erase the belief of a supernatural being [God].
Christians believe and practice words of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and testimonies shared by people around the world, who said they have received and seen miracles from the words of the Scripture has stiffened most people’s faith in the Holy Book.
However, according to Newsweek, fewer Americans than ever before are trusting in the Bible gospel.
A Pew Research Centre report in April, shows that only 35 percent of Americans read the holy book at least once a week, while 45 percent seldom or never do. About 36 percent of Christians said the Bible should not be taken literally, while 40 percent say it is the word of God.
Another poll conducted in May showed, only 24 percent of Americans believe the Bible is “the actual word of God, and is to be taken literally, word for word.”
The poll explained that “From the mid-1970s through 1984, close to 40% of Americans considered the Bible the literal word of God, but this has been declining ever since, along with a shrinking percentage of self-identified Christians in the U.S. While, the percentage defining the Bible as mere stories has doubled, with much of that change occurring in the past three years.”

Christianity is world’s largest religion with over 2.4 billion worshippers or 33% of the global population.
In Africa, Nigeria has the largest Christian population of among, with more than 85 million persons in Nigeria belonging to the church with various denominations ranging from the Roman Catholic to the Nontrinitarian groups.
The number has reportedly grown from 21.4% in 1953 to 49.3% in 2010.
