And because their fellow mates couldn't pronounce their names, they coined them names - Flo for Folorunsho and Doyle for Doyin.

They were in the school for 4 years, and at age 11 she and Doyle moved back to Nigeria at the request of their parents who didn't want them to lose their African values, culture and tradition.
In 1976, Folorunsho Alakija got married to her loving husband. The couple have 4 kids, all boys. All of them schooled abroad and are all engaged one way or the other in the family business.

Folorunsho’s mom used to be a fabric merchant and she used to help out, and through that she learnt a lot. After leaving the corporate world in 1984, she went to the UK to study fashion designing.
A year after her training, she came back to Nigeria and started her fashion house - Supreme Stitches at a 3-Bedroom apartment in Surulere, Lagos. A year after establishing the company, she emerged as the best designer in the country in 1986.

In May 1993, Folorunsho applied for the allocation of an oil prospecting license (OPL). The block is located approximately 220 miles south east of Lagos and 70 miles offshore of Nigeria in the Agbami Field of the central Niger Delta. In September 1996, she entered into a joint venture agreement with Star Deep Water Petroleum Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of Texaco) and appointed the company as a technical adviser for the exploration of the license, transferring 40 percent of her 100 percent stake to Star Deep. Subsequently, Star Deep sold off 8 percent of its stake in OPL 216 to Petrobras, a Brazilian company.

As of 2014, she is listed as the 96th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes. In May 2015 two Nigerian women, Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and Alakija were listed among the world's 100 most powerful women according to Forbes. Alakija was 87th on the list.

I have always had killer hips and when I was growing up, I used to do my best to hide them. Back then, the vogue was to be slim with no curves.  When I was in the UK and everybody was going skimpy during summer, I would hide my curves in baggy tee shirts."

She also once said she is still a virgin in 2013 a sentence many do not believe even till now.. Well, she seems like a very decent girl but the fact that she's never had sex before is what fans won't accept from her even though she said she is saving her virginity for marriage.

                                      Governor[2009-2017]
                                                                            MARITAL STATUS:     Married.

 INTRODUCTION

Olusegun Mimiko is the current governor of Ondo State, Nigeria.
Dr. Olusegun Mimiko competed in gubernatorial elections on April 14, 2007, against the incumbent Olusegun Agagu and lost the contest in April 2007 according to the result released by the Independent Electoral Commission INEC. Mimiko contested this decision at the election tribunal and Agagu lost office on February 23, 2009 following an AppealCourt ruling which cited irregularities in the 2007 election, and was replaced by Mimiko as governor. Mimiko is currently the first and only member of the Labour Party to win gubernatorial office in Nigeria.

 EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND

Dr. Olusegun Mimiko is the 5th Executive Governor of Ondo State. Born 3rd October 1954 to Pa and Mrs. Atiku Bamidele Mimiko of Ondo Kingdom in Ondo State, his mother hails from the prominent Ogunsulie family. While his great, great grandfather was High Chief Adaja Gbegbaje of Ondo, and his great grandfather, Chief Akinmeji, was Ruwase of Ondo. His father was an accomplished businessman of his time. It’s then not surprising that he ensured all his children were all educated in good schools across the country. As a young boy, he had a doting father, and his mother remains very caring. Though not born into opulence, he grew up in an environment that was suffused in love and care.
Olusegun Mimiko was admitted to St. Joseph’s College, Ondo in 1966 where he graduated in 1970 with the West African School Certificate. His graduation from this prestigious school helped shaped his life. Between 1971 and 1972, he was a Higher School Certificate (HSC) student at Gboluji Grammar School, Ile-Oluji before he gained admission to the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife in 1972 to study Medicine. He chose Medicine because his father believed that if you didn’t study science, you were dumb. It’s as a result of this, his eldest sister Alhaja Hafsat Oyeneyin read Pharmacy. In 1976, ‘Olusegun Mimiko bagged a B.Sc. Health Sciences Degree, and the MBChB in 1980, and he is appropriately registered with the Nigerian Medical and Dental Council as a Medical Practitioner.
As a medical doctor, he worked in the private and public sectors. Between 1980 and 1981, he was a House Officer with the Ondo State Health Management Board under which auspices he worked at the General (now State Specialist) Hospital, Ado-Ekiti. He had a stint with the Nigerian Naval College (NNS Onura), Onne, Port Harcourt, between 1981 and 1982, from where he returned to join the services of the Ondo State Health Management Board as Medical Officer in the General (now State Specialist) Hospital, Ondo, in 1982.
From late-1983 to 1984, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko had his initial taste of private medical practice by working at different times as a Medical Officer at Apagun Clinic, Yaba, Lagos; and as Acting Medical Director, Alleluyah Hospital, Oshodi, Lagos. He returned to public service for another year between April 1984 and February 1985 (again with the Ondo State Health Management Board) before finally going into full private medical practice with the setting up of the Mona Mediclinic with headquarters in Ondo Town, Ondo State. During his private practice, people trooped to his hospital for treatment, and at a point, his clinic was like a charity home.

CAREER AND LIFE

His political activities date back to his undergraduate days as a medical student at the then University of Ife, in the late 1970s and early 1980. People knew him more with symposia and student union activism while he was in university. His last two years in the university, in particular, were filled with activism. So powerful was he that he made a Student Union President in his room at Ife then. He was the one who packaged Wole Olaoye to become president of the student union as he(Mimiko) was his campaign manager. So, he came from that tradition of activism and he was able to blend it with Medicine.
Olusegun Mimiko was at various times a member of the Students’ Representatives Council (Parliament), 1975/76, and chairman of its Special Honours Committee. For a period in 1976, he was elected chairman of the council. Outside the union legislative house, he served on the University of Ife students’ union electoral commission, 1976/77. He was the public relations official of the International Students’ Association oAssociation of the university between 1977 and 1978.
After graduation Dr. Olusegun Mimiko moved up from a student union activist to find political expression and identity in the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN) of Chief Obafemi Awolowo. After his return from the National Youth Service scheme, he took up membership of the party. As a budding politician, he served as the publicity secretary of the Ondo local government chapter of the UPN in 1983. The internal crises which be-devilled the UPN and the politics of the era dragged on to the 1983 general elections. This could not stop Dr. Mimiko and douse his in-born passion for social change. This cohered with the concern of 3 budding intellectuals ensconced in two Nigeria universities; themselves accomplished individuals today, Professor Femi Mimiko, Dr. Rotimi Adelola (Ondo State’s current Secretary to the State Government) and Engr. Wole Akinjo, on the need for some form of intervention and departure from this growing tendency at demonizing politics. They vigorously engaged with the idea of getting concerned elements to continually brainstorm on ways to improve on the politics and governance in the Nigerian society.
Late in 1987, this idea led to the emergence of the Ondo Study Group (OSG) over which he presided. After an extensive review of its political mobilization effort in 1988, the OSG General Assembly enjoined full participation of its member in politics. Dr. Olusegun Mimiko took a lead on this initiative. He was supported by the Group to run for office as chairman of the former Ondo Local Government (now Ondo East and West LGAs) in 1990 under the aegis of the newly formed Social Democratic Party (SDP). While that early effort did not achieve its specific objective, it marked the transformation of Dr. Mimiko into a full-fledged politician. He was later to serve as an ex-officio member of the SDP Executive Council in Ondo Local Government Area and as a member of the party’s Disciplinary Committee.
OSG soon found rewarding relevance in the campaign organisation of Evangelist Bamidele Olumilua who was bidding for the government seat on Ondo State under the SDP. Before long, Evangelist Olumilua saw the talent in the energetic Dr. Olusegun Mimiko and appointed him the honorable health commissioner in 1992. By the time he was leaving office in late 1993 as a result o the military coup d’etat that terminated that republic, Dr. Mimiko had left his mark as a performer. This first tour of duty as a public official was a great opportunity for Dr. Mimiko to demonstrate the stuff of which he was made. It set the tone for a distinguished career in politics the continuation of which is his swearing-in as the fifth elected Governor of the Sunshine State.

In recognition of his extensive contribution to the victory of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) in the 1999 governorship election in Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko was appointed as the honorable Commissioner for Health in the state, making the second time he would hold that office. Before he resigned from that position on 7th November 2002, he had greatly enhanced the quality of health care delivery in the state. On 7th November 2002, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko resigned his appointment as State Commissioner for Health, ‘for strictly personal reasons’ in the conviction that he would be in a better position to facilitate increased quality of governance in Ondo State. In response to the call across the state to join the gubernatorial race, he formally announced his intention to contest the governorship election on the platform of AD on Tuesday, 19th November 2002, at a press conference in Akure. He insisted that for Ondo State, there certainly were brighter days ahead. That was the cliche that defined his campaign organisation – the Brighter Days Network.
Dr. Olusegun Mimiko later left AD over issues centred on irregularities on gubernatorial candidate. He then adopted the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) of those early years as a preferred platform for the continuing struggle to enthrone good governance in Ondo State. After the victory of the party in April 2003 polls, he was appointed Secretary to the State Government (SSG), a position he occupied till July 2005 when he was appointed by then president Chief Olusegun Obasanjo as Minister of Housing and Urban Development. It was from that position he resigned on 8th December 2006 to enable him offer himself once again for higher service to Ondo State as Governorship candidate in the April 2007 election. This was under the auspices of the Labour Party which he formally presented to the people of the state at City Hall, Akure, on 14th December 2006.Over the years, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko has authored many research papers and published articles focusing on issues as wide-ranging as medicine, international relations and national socio-political developmental strategies. For leisure, Dr. Mimiko engages in writing and reading. Way back in 1971, the young Olusegun had won the John F. Kennedy Essay (School Level) Award, underscoring his creative capabilities. He is also a farmer and an environmentalist with an abiding love for flowers and plantations. He is also a lover of exquisite art works.  An administrator and record-maker per excellence, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko has won several awards in recognition of his excellent performance in public office and communal engagement. Dr. Olusegun Mimiko is happily married to Mrs Olukemi Mimiko, a virtuous woman who has greatly supported her husband. Together, His Excellency Dr Olusegun Mimiko and Her Excellency Mrs Olukemi Mimiko are blessed with adorable children.
Governor Olusegun Mimiko was said to have won the election on October 20, 2012 enabling him to continue in office for a second term making him the first Governor in Ondo State to win a second term election.Mimiko's victory is now being contested by the candidate of the ACN - Rotimi Akeredolu, the candidate of the PDP - Olusola Oke and the candidate of the CPC - Olusoji Ehinlanwo.

In October 2012, Mimiko stood as the Labour Party candidate for Nigeria’s Ondo State and polled the highest votes in the elections. The Ondo State governor, Olusegun Mimiko on Thursday October 2, 2014 officially decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the Labour Party. He and his supporters were received back to the fold by the Vice President, Namadi Sambo, Senate President, David Mark, Deputy National Chairman, Uche Secondus and top party men at the Banquet Hall of the State House, Abuja.

INTRODUCTION
Seyi Law is a nigerian Comedian, born Idileoye Oluwaseyitan Lawrence Aletile, stage named Seyi Law, has continued to soar in comic entertainment since hitting limelight following his success at the AY Open Comedy Mic in 2006.Since then, he's been known has a top comedian in the country as he is always at most events for performance. He's also got dozens of comedy skits on Youtube. He is also the founder of "I must laugh" show.
He is married.

EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND

He didn’t grow up with his parents as he returned to Nigeria from Gabon at age six.
He had his nursery and primary schools in Okitipupa, Ondo State, and from there, He proceeded to Ekiti State Government College, formerly Unity Secondary School, where he did his junior secondary school. That was probably where the comedy thing started; you know performing at social gathering and all that. Later, he went to Lagos to have his senior secondary school education at Methodist Boys High School, Victoria Island, Lagos. Then he had a break before later pursuing a part-time programme in Computer Studies at the Lagos State Polytechnic.
Well, Seyi Law is from his names, Oluwaseyitan Lawrence. Jedi, a famous comedian, told him to use a name that will be good for the corporate market. So, he picked ‘Seyi’ from Oluwaseyitan and ‘Law’ from Lawrence.

He was quoted saying

“When you live with people who are not your parents, the feeling will be different, there will be a lot of restrictions. Besides, I spent my childhood all through secondary school in the boarding school.”

With the little money he made after stopping the work, he started selling fish with his mum. Then he would go to Makoko market, buy the fish, cross the third mainland bridge with the fish on his head, takes them home, washes them and put flour on them and fries them for sell in front of the house. Later he decided to do something else and he started working at PZ as a casual worker. After a while he moved over to Orile to join his elder brother were he started up his own business centre, making calls and selling recharge cards. It was just then he got into comedy seriously. Though right from when he was a kid, he has always been the funny one, always trying to make his friends laugh, all through his school days, but he had never had the idea of going into comedy.

CAREER AND LIFE

He started comedy professionally in 2007 but then he was just roaming around as a comedian from December 2005 until I won the AY Open Comedy competition in September 2006. After that, I decided to be under the tutelage of AY for a year before I decided to take up comedy as a profession.

AY has been the man who is able to teach others how to fish. He came up with the idea of a comedy competition. At that time, he was looking for young talented comedians who will participate in the competition and the winner was to get a ‘staggering’ amount of N50,000. He was the first winner then in 2006.

After winning the competition, He went to him and told him that he would like to learn from him and he invited him to his house. So, he started staying with him and going out with him to events, studying how he does his stuffs — tricks and the secrets of the trade, that was how he got the motivation that he wanted to do this professionally. By 2007, He decided that he was going to pick up the trade.

A lot of people easily identify him with the AY brand. But apart from being recognised with AY Live brand, Opa Williams ‘Nite of Thousand Laughs’ is not for a particular comedian, and it happens to be one of the foremost comedy shows in Nigeria; so it became the face of Nigerian comedy and every upcoming comedian wanted to be associated with it. Fortunately, after winning the AY Show, Opa Williams invited him and he has performed in several of his shows. He has also been on the AY brand show, he has only missed two of the shows.

He started the ‘I Must Laugh’ brand in January 2012. He did ‘Lagos Must laugh with Seyi Law.’ That same year, he proceeded to the United Kingdom where they have a lot of fans. He did the ‘London Must Laugh’ and ‘Manchester Must laugh with Seyi Law’ in Manchester City.
He says in an interview in 2015 they ’re going back to London and there is also the possibility that they will have ‘Scotland must Laugh’ and ‘Instanbul Must Laugh’ in Turkey. But the one that is certain is the ‘London show’ which is billed for Good Friday at the Discovery Centre, London and We are also proposing ‘Lagos Must Laugh’ billed for May 1. The two shows were done 2015 and they turned truly great and amazing for the comedian.

He revealed in an interview:
"Shows outside the country are huge; they may not command as much as 5,000 guests as they do here in Nigeria. But I think we often limit ourselves to the Nigerian audience and maybe Africa. What Nigeria is doing, right now, is building the roadmap to the bigger stage, and I know that in no distant time, we will get there; maybe in another two or three year, Nigerians will stage a comedy show in the O2 Arena.

But some comedians don’t seem to handle such situation well
In the industry, we call it spontaneity. It is your ability to think on your toes, within a split second. The more you grow in the profession, the more professional you become. I have taken my time too to learn, and I tell people ‘don’t be ashamed to learn even from those coming behind you and the younger ones.’ So, when you are able to task yourself, you learn and are able to build your spontaneity. "

He mentioned his most embarrassing moment as a comedian in an interview... see below
"My most embarrassing moment is probably my most glorious moment. It was ‘Asa live in Lagos’ in 2008. I was invited to be the Master of Ceremony, and I came on stage, when I saw people who were seated at the show, I was shocked because the turnout was huge; high profile people. And when I introduced myself, I heard a woman say ‘Who is this? Where is Alibaba? Where is Basketmouth? Is this the person they have brought to entertain us? What sort of thing is this?’ because the stage was close to the audience. I knew the position of this woman in Nigeria and it was as if they took out everything right out of inside of me! I lost my bearing.
I remember that the joke I would normally say at the end of my performances was the joke I started with, I did not get a good laugh. When I wanted to introduce the next artiste that was supposed to perform, I used the word ‘young’ almost seven to eight times. Eventually, when I introduced him, he came on stage, the microphone had issues and they had to work on it.
My cousin, who actually into introduced me to comedy, was at that event too. One man who sat in front of him said, ‘When that idiot came out, they should have used that time to work on the microphone.’ My cousin said if I had come out as at that time to meet him, he would have denied me more than Peter denied Jesus Christ. He said I should have thanked my stars that I did not come out because he would have betrayed me. I remember that I went on my knees later that day and asked for God’s guidance.
The same man who spoke to my cousin that day was the same man that took me on my first international show to South Africa and he paid me N450,000 in 2008. That was a huge amount of money and that was part of the money that I used to buy my first Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV). That is to tell you that your greatest moment of disgrace could be your greatest moment of upliftment, of breakthrough. That is why I try to live my life without any form of regret. If anything happens that I do not have a solution, I move on from there, thinking of what next to do. I believe God would and has always seen me through.
"

The popular comedian now married proposed to his wife Igbo wifey Ebere in the year 2009 a proposal which his girlfriend (now wife) thought was a joke. The duo got married on 28th of march 2011.
In 2015 it was a very sad thing they lost their first baby at birth. The comedian showed a sign of bravery and got his wife through the had times.

Pastor W.F KUMUYI Full Biography,Life And News.

FULL NAME:            William Folorunso Kumuyi

DATE OF BIRTH:     June 6, 1941

OCCUPATION:           Pastor,Author.

 MARITAL STATUS:  Married(twice)

INTRODUCTION
William Folorunso Kumuyi is the founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church The the third largest Christian church in the world, headquarters situated in Nigeria. He is the author of several books. In the early 1970s Kumuyi worked as an education lecturer at the University of Lagos.

EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND

Pastor W.F Kumuyi was born into a Christian family in Erin-Ijesha, Osun State, Nigeria. He completed his secondary school education in 1961, and in 1962 started teaching mathematics at Mayflower School in Ikenne, Ogun-State. From where he proceeded to the University of Ibadan and in 1967 graduated with a first-class honours degree in mathematics. He became a born-again Christian in April 1964.

W.F. Kumuyi was born into an Anglican home. It was a very strict Christian home, he told Isaacson, “We would get up in the morning, read the Bible, sing hymns, and go to church regularly. When I went to secondary school I lost interest in the church because our principal taught us atheism. But after a while I thought again and started going to various churches in town. Eventually, in 1963, a group of singers and preachers from a Gospel church got permission to come to the school. I understood the Gospel message, and was born again on April 5th, 1964. I read John Wesley, Charles Finney, Spurgeon, and lots of other books. I got involved with the Scripture Union, and I grew.”

He gained a first-class degree in Mathematics at the University of Ibadan; then went back to Mayflower School to teach. After five years he went to the University of Lagos to do a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and became a lecturer there in 1973; and that was when he started a small Deeper Life Bible Study group.

 CAREER AND LIFE

In 1973, while serving as Math Lecturer at The University of Lagos, W.F. Kumuyi started a Bible study group with 15 university students who had come to him requesting training in the Scriptures. By the early 1980’s that small group had grown to several thousand, at which time Deeper Life Bible Church was formally established.
By 1988 the congregation had grown to 50,000, and now numbers 120,000 members, making it the third largest Christian church in the world. Dr. Johan Combrinck reports that the Deeper Life Bible Church not only has an attendance of 120,000 every Sunday, but has planted 500 churches in Lagos, 5,000 in the rest of Nigeria (with an independent estimate of more than 800,000 members in Nigeria alone), and 3,000 elsewhere (with missionaries to 40 countries of Africa) as the movement missionary contribution. (Source: AFNET).

Dr. C. Peter Wagner, in an article titled ‘Those Amazing Post-Denominational Churches’ wrote: “By far, the most rapidly growing segment of Christianity on all six continents is a type of church that does not fit traditional categories or classifications. Missiologists have recognized its presence for some time, but it is such a recent phenomenon that they have not yet agreed on a name for it. Perhaps one title that would fit is the term ‘post-denominational.”
“Go to almost any metropolitan area and ask to visit the largest Christian Church. Chances are it will be one of these new post-denominational churches’. In Lagos, Nigeria, it would be the Deeper Life Bible Church, pastored by William Kumuyi. On a recent Sunday I saw 74,000 adults worshipping together, with 40,000 children meeting in a separate building across the street.” (Apostolic Team Ministries, Intl., Newsletter 09).

Journalist Alan Isaacson provides a helpful study of this phenomenal ministry in his book Deeper Life, talking with many members of the church who told him how Christ has miraculously intervened and changed lives in response to prayer and the proclamation of the Gospel. In Pastor Kumuyi’s own words: “God, in the growth of Deeper Life Bible Church, has strategically and prudently used miracles to make all men come to Him’ (John 3:26). We take Christian living and holiness seriously.”
According to Isaacson, The history of Deeper Life is very much the personal story of W.F. Kumuyi. He is a gifted man, clear-thinking and humble. He is a dedicated Christian and deserves the title “the man of God,” which his followers have given him. Since he was a young man, Kumuyi has devoted his time to reading and studying the Bible. He knows the Scriptures inside out, and has struggled to understand and apply them. As he shares that struggle and his love for the word of God, so people have been drawn to him for advice, or simply to listen. When he preaches, his message is clear, simple, and profound. Poor street traders who can barely read sit next to university professors, all equally captivated by the way Scripture becomes suddenly relevant to them.

Pastor Kumuyi’s own Christian life developed because he took the Bible so seriously, and so the Deeper Christian Life Ministry has developed in the same way. In Alan Isaacson’s own words, he “preached Deeper Life into existence.” His sermons were captivating, wrote Isaacson, “I would classify him as one of the greatest living preachers, giving a straightforward Bible-based message, his sermons thorough, and always personally challenging. He always gave a wide range of cross-references which were read in their context, supporting, clarifying and expanding his main points. He spoke clearly and authoritatively to the Nigerian situation. He dealt sensitively with African culture, but also made a firm stand in highlighting the points where local culture was incompatible with the will of God. While stressing the high moral tone which is one of the virtues of most African cultures at their best, he was at pains to specify those aspects of local culture which were unchristian and even evil. In this way he was not only concerned with some kind of personal holiness, but also genuinely seeking the wholeness and harmony of the community at large, where truth, honesty, and justice should be the predominant characteristics.

He is not tall, and does not have a larger-than-life character. He does not dominate, nor has he accrued power to himself. He walks slowly, is relaxed, and has a gentle sense of humour with a warm smile and a twinkle in his eyes. He dresses simply, eats simply… and… could have assumed titles to himself. As the Deeper Christian Life Ministry developed – most people enjoy the trappings and regalia of status which followers gladly give. But he calls his followers brothers and sisters, and treats them as colleagues.

Kumuyi remarried in October 2010 in London to a 65 years old virgin, about 18 months after the death of his first wife.
In April 2013, Kumuyi was named as one of the "500 most powerful people on the planet" and Deeper Christian Life Ministry named as "the World's largest Megachurch" by Foreign Policy magazine.

 RUMORS AND SCANDALS

After he remarried at the age of 71 in  2010 it brought about a lot of critics.
A big scandal rocked Kumuyi's household in 2013 about his own son wedding, a wedding in which the appearance of the groom was in total dis-respectfulness and disregardful of the Deeper Life normal appearance mode(Dressing code) a scandal which almost made the G.O resigned from his duties.

Since she's been signed to Chocolate City record label in 2012 she has been making a lot of waves in Nigeria and other African countries.

EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND

Victoria is the youngest of three kids. she has two older brothers and her parents are pastors. She grew up partly in Benin City, Nigeria while her parents were there doing missionary work. That’s how she ended up finishing high school here in Nigeria. She has been singing since she was about 9 years old but she didn’t record any  song officially until she was about 16 and then she started singing back-ups, choir and also writing songs for other people.

After leaving Benin City, they went back to Kenya. She got into a university, but what she immediately did was singing back-up for Mercy Mara and she travels a lot with her music. She had to ask herself if she wanted to sit in school or she want to follow her dream which is music. It was really hard for her to take that decision because her parents wanted her to finish school and all that, but she couldn’t go on. She wanted to be on the stage and her parents eventually let her follow her dreams and she never went back to college.  "Probably I’ll still go back to school, because there are some things I want to learn. I am really interested in psychology and how people think, but somehow, it will still be tied to my music. " SHE SAYS.

See what she said when she was in an interview asked about leaving the church for pop music...

You know it’s different, because when you are singing for the lord, you don’t really have people judging you saying what’s she wearing and all that kind if talks. But when you are an entertainer, it becomes a totally different feeling. But musically, I feel its similar, because both are from the heart. Now, I do have some gospel songs in my forthcoming mixtape. So, it’s not like I am not singing about God anymore. I sang in the choir while I was in Benin City and subsequently, I always sing in church with my dad. He’s a professional Guitar player and he used to be a singer too. Now my parents are used to it. I’ve been singing for a long time, so by now I think they are used to it. And as long as I am conservative and properly dressed, its fine with them. They won’t want reports from members of their church saying we saw your daughter on television and she was scantily dressed (laughs). And even when they try to complain about my outfits, I just show them a picture of Lady Gaga or Nicki Minaj and I’ll be like mum, ‘am not that bad, see what these people are wearing’.

Chocolate City opened a branch in Kenya last year and that’s where she signed, but because the mother branch is here in Nigeria, and because of the type of music she does, it is necessary for her to be in Nigeria. So, she end up going back and forth. But back in Kenya,  She will say  that when she came into the Kenyan music industry with her songs and music videos, they hadn’t seen anything like it. But here in Nigeria, there are a lot of female musicians. So, it’s not new here and that hasn’t happened in Kenya yet. She think she is probably the first person to come back from the states with a brand new kind of hip hop music. "We are just in the process of creating an industry for ourselves in Kenya, but to be honest, I think it was like a big shock for a lot of people when I came back to Kenya with that video because we didn’t have those types of videos in Kenya." SHE SAYS.
