INTRODUCTION

Sinach, an award winning songwriter, worship leader and recording artist is a key member of the LoveWorld music team of Christ Embassy who started singing at a very young age. She is one of the most famous singers in Nigeria today with her hit gospel albums and hit singles.

EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND

Osinachi Kalu, popularly known as Sinach, is a Nigerian who hails from Ebonyi state. She comes from a family of seven where she is the second daughter. She studied physics at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers state. Her mentor is Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy.

In a post on instagram she revealed about her past:
“I had a dream as a little girl that one day I will change people’s lives. I would have dreams of singing to many people from different nations and tongues but when I opened my eyes I was right there still on my bed waking up to the sound of my father’s early morning BBC radio news to start my seemingly uninteresting chores before school.
It was just a dream. As the years went by, my parents insisted that I train my mind .Then I met Jesus and he changed my purpose and changed my reason for singing. Challenges along the way built my character. Like a clay,I’ve been beaten, poured upon, torn apart, rolled over, put into the fire, and continuously moulded into shape in the process of making me”
According to her music was her dream. Her father objected to her musical career. He told her she would go hungry as a musician, that musicians amount to nothing. It was when she met Pastor Chris that he changed herperspective. He told me her she could be anything she want to be in life with God’s word.

She is a spiritually gifted woman in terms of gospel music. She has given hope to the hopeless all over the world through her inspiring songs. She is a multiple award-winning song writer, recording artiste, producer and worship song leader.

This talented singer is a key member of Love World music team of Christ Embassy and she started singing at a young age despite loads of criticisms from her father. She knew that gospel music is not for commercial purposes but to help promote the gospel of Christ and lift up the spirit of the hopeless.

This great star believes that in the coming years, her songs would bring good news to much more people and influence the whole nation as well as the world. She also believes that with her songs, generations to come would have godly music and lyrics to listen, sing and dance to, instead of listening to negative music that don’t add anything meaningful.
Sinach is not only a star to the world but also to God. Her songs bring joy to many and tell of the importance of serving God and living a life of holiness. According to her, she has been born again for more than 20 years and she sang a song on being born-again in order to inspire people and tell them of its importance.

Singer BRYMO Full Biography,Life And News

 FULL NAME:                Olawale Ashim

DATE OF BIRTH:          9 May, 1986

OCCUPATION:              Singer

MARITAL STATUS:      Not Married

INTRODUCTION

Brymo, is a Nigerian recording artist and composer. He is also an Ambassador for The Lagos Chamber of Commerce And Industry. He was formerly signed to Chocolate City. Brymo is most notable for his distinguished voice.
He's been lauded by many people for his unique voice, style of music and his amazing lyrics.

EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND

Olawale Ashimi was born in 1986 in the town of Ojo, Lagos State, the son of a carpenter father and a petty trading mother. He grew up in the neighbourhood of Okokomaiko. He received a primary education at Aganju Aka Primary School between 1990 and 1997. Between 1997 and 2003, he attended Ajangbadi High School, the local public secondary school. He gained admission into Lagos State University to study zoology but had to drop out due to financial constraints. In 1999, when he was 14, Brymo wrote his first song and pleased with his results, the young Olawale was inspired to pursue a career in music.

He mentioned he also wan to become a footballer because he was good at it. He play with his left leg which is not quite common so he was automatically special. But his Dad didn’t really get down with it. And to be a successful footballer, the factors are more varied than for a musician. Music is more emotional and more sentimental than football. You can just raise some money to record a demo, put it on radio and just blow up. But with football, you have to look for a big team to play for that will pay you big money. So he didn’t know how it really happened but he just woke up one morning and realized it was music and not football anymore and he started to sing. he just sang and sang and sang.

In  1999, Olawale wrote his first chorus at age 14. In 2002 he came  together with three other friends and they started a band called ALIENS.  Brymo played a very important part as a member of the group, his job  being writing and compositions of songs. In a period of two years, he  wrote over 85 songs. In 2005 the group broke up as some members had to  go back to school.

When Asked About His Educational Background In An Interview he said:
"I pretty much schooled all my life in the same area. I went to Lagos State University for my tertiary education but I had to run away after two years. I was studying Zoology. It wasn’t because of the course; it wasn’t because I couldn’t handle the books. But you know when you’re somewhere and you just don’t feel you should be there. I left school in 2008. That was when I took a break from everything for two years. I left school, I left my previous management, and the only thing I had was my music. Funny enough, when I started recording two years later in 2010, that was when the phone call from Denrele came in."

CAREER AND LIFE

Shortly after the disbanding of his group Aliens, Brymo moved into a solo career, recording his first single in 2005. Not signed to any record label, he sought out the assistance of a local talent spotter, who helped him record his debut album entitled Brymstone with Bujoc Records. In 2008 Brymo released a single entitled "Shawdy" along with a music video which peaked at number two on the MTV Base Africa top 10 countdown The song peaked at number one on the Nigezee top 10. It was nominated for the Soundcity Music Video Awards.

Brymo met Nigerian superstar rapper M.I in 2010. M.I was impressed with him and introduced him to fellow musicians Jesse Jagz and Ice Prince all from the Chocolate City recording label. Brymo's talent and unique voice were recognised by Chocolate City, and before long he was signed to the label. He released an album with Chocolate City in 2012 called TheSonOfaKapenta before leaving the label in 2013. He has featured on several tracks by other musicians, most notably Oleku by Ice Prince. This hit single gained enormous airplay and topped most charts in Nigeria and Sudan.

In September 2011 Brymo released his first single, "Ara", under the Chocolate City label, produced by Legendury Beatz. "Ara" is Brymo's first official single as a Choc Boy after he rose to instant fame with his feature on the biggest single of 2010, "Oleku" by Ice Prince. He has also been on a few other features including "Action Film" by M.I, "Attention" by 2-Shotz and "Ma wo be'" by Sasha. "Ara" was the number six trending topic globally on Twitter.
Brymo released "Good Morning", the second single of TheSonOfaKapenta on 16 April. The song rides on a slower tempo than that of "Ara".

See What He Said When Asked The Inspiration Behind his first hit single Ara.
"I was under pressure at that time and I needed to submit a single to Chocolate City. There was a song that everybody had already agreed would be my first single which is Good Morning but that later became the second. Good Morning was already recorded six months before Ara was written. At the end of the day, I got a beat from Legendary Beats and I listened and listened and I didn’t know what to do with it. I started to listen to it every day looking for what to write because I didn’t want to put Good Morning out as my first single so of all the other options that I created, Ara was actually the last. Some weeks later, after a very nice meal in the afternoon, I think it was Oha soup or Banga soup, it just came to me. The chorus of Ara is actually an old folk song so I just reconstructed it into the techno beat that I had and it sounded good and I was like OK, it works."

Brymo released his second album, his only album released under Chocolate City. The album won him critical acclaim; gaining him more fans and awards.

Brymo left Chocolate City to become an independent artist. He worked with The Bail Music Company managed by respected talent manager/music business consultant, Lanre Lawal.
Brymo started his independent career with the single titled "Down

The album Merchants, Dealers & Slaves is the third studio album by Brymo, released October 20, 2013. "MD&S was written and recorded at a time when my aspirations were at cross roads in a battle against societal limitations and prejudice. My journey into self realization." says Brymo. The album is darker and more reflective. On the surface it is the story of a village boy who leaves his town for the seducing bright lights of Lagos City. Merchants, Dealers & Slaves is about broken promises, deception, hypocrisy and unfaithfulness. The album received generally positive reviews from music critics like Darlington Peters who described The "new" Brymo as a "breath of fresh air". The album ends with "Merchants, Dealers & Slaves" the title track and is a serenade on the fundamentals of human existence, freedom and love. The chorus to "Merchants, Dealers & Slaves" is an ironic view of Nigeria's social strata.

In October, 2014 Brymo released his fourth studio album (his 2nd Independent album). The album hit the Number 1 spot on iTunes Nigeria Chat in less than 16 Hours of release.

In October, Brymo was announced an Ambassador for The Lagos Chamber of Commerce And Industry. The unveiling event which took place in Lagos, Nigeria had the body introduce their brand ambassadors to the general public. Football Star JAY JAY OKOCHA Biography

FULL NAME:                        Augustine Azuka Okocha

DATE OF BIRTH:                14 August 1973

OCCUPATION:                  Athlete: Ex Footballer.

MARITAL STATUS:             Married

INTRODUCTION

Okocha is a Nigerian former professional footballer. He is widely regarded as the best Nigerian player of his generation. He is also known for his stepovers, skill, technique, and being 'so good that they named him twice' (a line immortalised in a terrace chant while Okocha played for Bolton Wanderers). He is a dual Nigerian-Turkish citizen, having acquired Turkish citizenship as "Muhammet Yavuz" while playing for Süper Lig team Fenerbahçe.

EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND

Okocha was born in Enugu, Enugu State. His parents were from Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State, Nigeria. The name Jay-Jay was actually passed down from his older brother James, who started playing football first. His immediate older brother Emmanuel was also called Emma Jay-jay, but the name stuck with Okocha. He began playing football on the street just like many other football stars, usually with a makeshift ball.

In an interview with BBC Sport he said "as far as I can remember, we used to play with anything, with any round thing we could find, and whenever we managed to get hold of a ball, that was a bonus! I mean it was amazing!" In 1990, he joined Enugu Rangers. In his time at the club he produced many spectacular displays including one where he rounded off and scored a goal, against experienced Nigerian goalkeeper William Okpara in a match against BCC Lions. Later that year, he went on holiday to West Germany, the country that had just won the 1990 FIFA World Cup, so he could watch German league football. His friend Binebi Numa was playing in the Third Divison for Borussia Neunkirchen, and one morning Okocha accompanied Numa to training, where he asked to join in. The Neunkirchen coach was impressed with Okocha's skills and invited him back the next day before offering him a contract. A year later, he joined 1. FC Saarbrücken, but stayed only a few months with the 2. Bundesliga side before a move to the 1. Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt.

CAREER AND LIFE

Okocha joined Eintracht Frankfurt in December 1991, where he linked up with many well-known players including Ghanaian international striker Tony Yeboah and later Thomas Doll. He continued to shine for the German side, one highlight being a goal he scored against Karlsruhe, dribbling in the penalty box and slotting the ball past goalkeeper Oliver Kahn even going past some players twice. The goal was voted Goal of the Season by many soccer magazines, and also voted as 1993 Goal of the Year by viewers of Sportschau (an ARD German TV sports program). In 1995, Okocha, Yeboah and Maurizio Gaudino were all involved in a feud with manager Jupp Heynckes, which led to their departure from the club.
Yeboah and Gaudino later left for England, while Okocha stayed until the end of the season when Frankfurt were relegated to the 2. Bundesliga, before signing for Istanbul club Fenerbahçe.

Okocha joined Turkish club Fenerbahçe for approximately £1 million following Eintracht Frankfurt's relegation to the 2. Bundesliga. In his two seasons with the team, he amassed 30 goals in 60 appearances, many of them coming from direct free kicks, which became something of a trademark for him at the club. While at Fenerbahçe, he also became a Turkish citizen as "Muhammet Yavuz".
In 1998, French side Paris Saint-Germain spent around £14 million on Okocha, making him the most expensive African player at the time. During his four-year stint with PSG, he played 84 matches and scored 12 goals. He has also served as a mentor, at the time, for young Brazilian footballer Ronaldinho during his time in Paris.

Okocha joined Bolton Wanderers on a free transfer after leaving PSG in the summer of 2002 after the FIFA World Cup. His debut season, despite being hampered by injury, made him a favourite with the Bolton fans, with the team printing shirts with the inscription "Jay-Jay – so good they named him twice". He steered the team away from relegation with seven goals, including the team Goal of the Season in the vital league win against West Ham United. This was voted Bolton's best Premier League goal in a fans vote in 2008. The next season saw Okocha receive more responsibility as he was given the captain's armband following Guðni Bergsson's retirement. As captain he led Bolton to their first cup final in nine years where they finished runners-up in the 2004 Football League Cup.
In 2006, he was stripped of the captaincy – something he said he had seen coming, as there had been a change in attitude from some staff members. This had probably been due to his proposed move to the Middle East, which had been growing in speculation. At the end of the season, he refused a one-year extension in order to move to Qatar.
Following Bolton's relegation from the Premier League in 2012, Okocha stated that his time at the club was a waste of time, saying the club had not improved since his time there
After just one season in Qatar, Football League Championship side Hull City signed Okocha on a free transfer in 2007, after the player had been linked to Real Salt Lake and Sydney FC. It was a move he made saying that "God had told him to do so". He however was not able to contribute greatly to Hull's promotion campaign due to fitness and constant injury problems, playing only 18 games and scoring no goals. Hull still succeeded in grabbing promotion to the Premier League, for the first time in their 104-year history. At the end of the season, after changing his mind on a proposed retirement due to Hull's promotion, he was released by the club, which sent him into retirement.

On 21 February 2015, Okocha was elected as the Chairman of the Delta State Football Association.
In April 2015, Okocha expressed his interest in becoming the Nigeria Football Federation president; and he is vigorously pursuing it.
Okocha made his official debut for Nigeria in their 2–1 1994 FIFA World Cup Qualifier away loss against Ivory Coast in May 1993.It was not until his second cap and home debut that he became a favourite with the Nigerian supporters. With Nigeria trailing 1–0 against Algeria, in a match they needed to win, he scored from a direct free kick to equalise, before helping the team to a 4–1 win, eventually securing qualification to their first World Cup. In 1994, he was a member of both the victorious 1994 African Cup of Nations squad and the World Cup squad who made it to the second round before they lost in a dramatic match against eventual runners-up Italy.

In 1996, Okocha became a member of an arguably more successful Nigerian side, their Olympic gold winning side at the Atlanta Games, later nicknamed Dream Team by the Nigerian press after the USA 1992 Olympic gold winning basketball team. In the 1998 FIFA World Cup hosted by France, Okocha played for a disappointing Super Eagles side who failed to live up to expectations again reaching the round of 16, albeit with less impressive performances save for their 3–2 opening win against Spain. This did not destroy interest in Okocha, who had entertained fans with his trademark skills and dribbles and went on to be named in the squad of the tournament.

Okocha again joined the Super Eagles in the 2000 African Cup of Nations co-hosted with Ghana. He scored three goals in the tournament, two in the opening game against Tunisia, and a left-foot blast from outside the penalty area into the top corner in the final against Cameroon, which equalized the score 2–2 and ultimately would send the match into extra time. There was no change in the score during the supplement, so the winner was decided on penalties; Okocha converted his shot but Nigeria lost the shootout to earn the silver medal.
After a disappointing Nations Cup in 2002 where Nigeria ended up finishing third, Okocha was named Nigeria captain after Sunday Oliseh and Finidi George were axed from the side. His first tournament as captain came that summer in the 2002 World Cup co-hosted by Korea and Japan. Playing in Group E, the ‘group of the death’ alongside Argentina, Sweden and England, Nigeria failed to make it to the next round gaining only one point in their final game, a goalless draw against England.

Okocha later led the Nigerian team to a third-place finish at the 2004 African Nations Cup in Tunisia, with some breathtaking displays, scoring four goals which include a spectacular free kick against Cameroon in the quarter finals and most notably the 1000th goal in Nations Cup history against South Africa, and winning the Player of the tournament and joint Golden boot winner.
After failing to help Nigeria qualify for the 2006 World Cup, Okocha announced that he would retire from international scene after the Cup of Nations in Egypt. Injury prevented Okocha from featuring in any of Nigeria's opening fixtures and he did not regain fitness until the semi final loss against Ivory Coast. He then played in his final international appearance in a 2–1 victory in a third place playoff against Senegal, he was then given a standing ovation by the nearly 60,000 attendance when he left the field.

He made a return to the Super Eagles in his testimonial against an African select side in Warri. The game featured former players Daniel Amokachi, Alloysius Agu and John Fashanu, as well as current players Benjani and Sulley Muntari. Nigeria won the game 2–1 with Okocha scoring the winning goal after appearing for the side in the second half.
In March 2004, he was named among the top 125 living footballers by Pelé.

His older brother Emmanuel was also a former international for the Nigerian team. Okocha is also a member of the Anioma, a subgroup of Igboethnic group. Jay Jay lives in west Lagos, Nigeria. He has a house within walking distance of fellow Nigerian football star Nwankwo Kanu.

AWARDS

Okocha never won the African Player of Year award, becoming arguably the best player never to win the award despite coming second twice in 1998. He did however win the inaugural BBC African Footballer of the Year and the successive one, becoming the only player to retain the award and win it more than once. In 2004 he was listed in football legend Pelé's FIFA 100 (a list of the greatest 125 living players of all time). In 2007 he was voted number 12 on the greatest African footballers of the past 50 years list, on a poll conducted by CAF to coincide with their 50th anniversary.

ABOUT

Olumo rock is located in Abeokuta the Ogun state capital. The rock dates back to the days when songs of war dominated the airwaves in Yoruba land, that’s was in the first quarter of 19th century when Oyo empire was falling apart from pressure of Fulani attacks from outside and fraternal conflicts from within.

Egba is the name of the local people of Abeokuta who once live under the Oyo Empire. As of 2005 Abeokuta and the surrounding area had a population of 593,140.
Abeokuta lies in fertile country, the surface of which is broken by masses of grey granite.it is spread over an extensive area, being surrounded by mud walls 18 miles in extent. Palm-oil, timber, rubber, yams and Shea-butter are the chief articles of trade. It lies below the Olumo rock, home to several caves and shrines. The town depends on the Oyan river dam for its water supply, which is not always dependable.
Olumo rock, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nigeria, it sits in the ancient city center of Abeokuta – a name which means ‘under the rock’. Abeokuta was originally inhabited by the Egba people who found refuge at the Olumo rock during the inter-tribal wars in the 19th century. The rock provided sanctuary to the people as well as a vantage point to monitor the enemy’s advance leading to eventual triumph in war. The town of Abeokuta eventually grew as these new settlers spread out from this location. Olumo means “all the troubles and sufferings were over” .Olumo rock was turned into a tourist site in 1976 and thus commission in February 3rd 2006 by chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

Olumo rock is natures massive monuments made of indigenous material, with the highest point at 137 meters from the base of the rock. From a perspective angle, it looks like “behemoth” in a sitting position; it also appears as a female mammoth guarding her brood. In metaphysics, the fact of its indigenous formation can be said to be its strength as a refuge, a hideout during the process of sitting in their new settlement which is the present day Abeokuta.

In addition, the rock functioned as a tower of strength for Egba in their wars to defend the new settlement. Symbolically Olumo is the single most important representation of Egba nationalism, it is the unique monument inseparably associated with their heroism and freedom. It is to them what status of Liberty is to Americans, it never fails to fascinate both the young and the old with its sheer size, configuration and several chambers located inside the belly of the “behemoth” in which its brood was hidden from the danger of incessant assault in the past. However Olumo rock became the symbol of unity, freedom of the Egba’s and all the residents of Abeokuta.

Domestic and international tourist now explore the special features of the rock which include the gardens on the rock, the natural tunnels and cleft path ways, the natural cantilevers and overhangs, the unusual trees, relics of the belief system of the early settlers on the rock. There is also three heavy escalators now installed at the 3 natural heights of the rock, covering a total of about 20 floor of a high rise building, tourist also experience a scenic and panoramic views of the ancient city from the highest peak of the rock.

We were showed the Ancient way which led to the top of Olumo rock,
the height of the rock is 137meters above sea level and at this point the whole Abeokuta could be seen e.g the first Church in Nigeria, N.T.A Abeokuta, Baptist Boys High School, The family house of late Abiola, the Central Mosque, Sanatan, River Ogun etc.
And not forgetting there is this cool elevator there for people who do not have the strength to climb using their legs like we did, i took the elevator though and it was fun.

HISTORY

Historically, Olumo rock was discovered by a hunter famer named Adagba and he found the rock to be a natural place of refuge from wars and threat of wars. Adagba retreated with his wife to the safety of the rock whenever the need arise. Egba reconnaissance men (consisting of three hunters) who met with Adagba where brought to the rock and were convinced that their search for a new secure home base is over. With the surrounding fertile wooded savannah and the presence of Ogun River, they believe that they have arrived at the promise land. Confirmation of the suitability of the site by Ifa divination was needed to seal of approval.
In 1830, shoeke, a hunter and leader of Egba refugees from Ibadan area founded the town of Abeokuta which means “beneath the rock”. The rock was later named “Olumo” which had two levels of meaning. The first is “Olu” (God) “Mo” (Molded) the second is “Oluwa fi mo” (God has put an end to our wandering and suffering).

Following the history TMTN learnt from the tour, it was said that the Rock is annually celebrated which involves sacrifices and according to history Human beings are what is used for this annual sacrifice majorly strangers but now things has changed has we've entered a civilized world they now use animals and fruits. They have this accient shrine inside the rock in which all these sacrifices are beeing done.

It was claimed that this rock has been a huge help to the town back in the day most especially for the Egba People of the town as it often save them from war and many more other attacks. There are many heroes statue there under the rock, i mean heroes who fought for the community.

It was noted that during the raining season Olumo rock produced water that could be used by local herbalist to cure sickness and diseases but it stopped producing water 50years ago, close to this point was a tomb behind the house of a chief called Sonni Osi-Toko who died on the 23rd January 1956 at 122yrs.
Another funny fact we were told is there is a very tall tree beside the uppermost part of the rock they said is over 300years old.

Singers PSQUARE Full Biography,Life And News

FULL NAME: Peter and Paul Okoye

DATE OF BIRTH: 18 November 1981

OCCUPATION: R&B, African pop

RELATIONSHIP STATUS: BOTH MARRIED

EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND

The story of P-Square began in St. Murumba secondary school, a small Catholic school in Jos, Nigeria[citation needed]. Identical twins Peter and Paul joined their school music and drama club where they began singing, dancing, and mimicking songs by MC Hammer, Bobby Brown and Michael Jackson.

They later formed an a cappella quartet called "MMMPP" (M Clef a.k.a. Itemoh, Michael, Melvin, Peter and Paul). Drawing inspiration from their music idol Michael Jackson, they began break dancing, formed the group called "Smooth Criminals" in 1997. They dropped M Clef from the group "MMMPP" which later was changed to "MMPP". Their artistic talent and precise dance routine soon made them household names in the city of Jos, where they performed at school functions and other occasions.

Later in 1999, Peter and Paul returned to music school to develop their skills on keyboard, drums, bass and rhythm guitar. Their work includes the soundtracks for a number of films like Tobi, Mama Sunday, Moment of Bitterness and Evas River.

Later in 1999, they applied to the University of Abuja to study Business Administration. The Smooth Criminals disbanded when its members left to various other universities. Subsequently Peter and Paul formed their own group, variously called "Double P", "P&P", and "Da Pees", until they eventually settled on "P Square". They are managed by Bayo Odusami aka Howie T, a seasoned concert promoter and the CEO of Adrot Nigeria Limited.

CAREER AND LIFE

In 2001, "P-Square" won the "Grab Da Mic" competition, and hence Benson & Hedges sponsored their debut album, titled Last Nite, which was released under Timbuk2 music label. P-Square was also nominated as "Most Promising African Group" in the Kora Awards three months after the release of their debut album. They eventually won the 2003 Amen Award for "Best R&B Group".

In 2005, P Square released their second album, Get Squared under their own label, Square Records. This album was marketed nationwide by TJoe Enterprises, although they were still managed by Howie T of Adrot Nigeria Limited. The video for the second album held the #1 position on the MTV Base chart for four straight weeks.

They have an ever growing fan base across South Africa with a particular stronghold of diehard fans in Cape Town.

The group has performed alongside the following international artists like Ginuwine, Sean Paul, Akon and Busola Keshiro. The members of P Square are now located in Lagos.

Late in 2007, they released their best selling album so far, Game Over. It has sold 8 million copies worldwide.

In 2009, P-Square released their fourth studio album, Danger. The album features collaborations with 2 Face Idibia, J Martins and Frenzy. The first single called "Danger" is a hip hop song with cutting synths and a frog bass baseline similar to an Eminem song. The video affirms this with the presence of clowns and staggered movements in front of the
camera
reminiscent of comical videos by Eminem. They are also known for the close resemblance which the twins have to American R&B Superstar, Usher Raymond.

On 4 April 2010, P-Square was named the Artist of the Year at the Kora Awards in Ouagadougou, Burkina-Faso while they were in London for a Concert at the Troxy, and they will receive a sum of $1 Million Dollars as the award winners, in Ebebiyin City.

The duo are reported to handle most of their production/beat making in house. The band has been faced with many controversies for their habit of sampling western songs and popular hits in their records. They have addressed the issue many times in interviews as well as in the lyrics of their songs. Technically speaking, P Square does more in the line of reconstructing the drum patterns, chord progressions or lyrics of the sampled songs as against actually cutting parts of the song and directly sampling into their production. This accounts for the largely electronic feel of their sound.

Some of the songs which have been called up on this account include "Get Squared", "Game Over", "Danger" and others.

P-Square attracted headlines because they reportedly turned irate when they were notified by organisers in the middle of their performance at the Guinness Show about some change in plans which would affect the length of their performance, and that of the next act, 2 Face Idibia. As reported by a news site vanguardngr.com, the info apparently stirred up resentment as Peter immediately said "I don’t know why, anytime a foreign artiste comes to Nigeria, they (show organizers) wanna treat us like slaves in our country". Although initially they continued their performance but midway through, they threw their microphones to the ground and angrily stormed out of the stage saying, "We are leaving; they don’t want 2face to come on stage" They were said to have immediately left the premises of the show, but after intervention of the show organisers, they came on stage later with 2face for a performance, but later on were apologised to.

The duo had a difference in opinion regarding what Peter perceived as a lopsidedness in individual input of songs which was getting featured on their joint albums with Paul getting a lion share of his songs selected. This led to Peter refusing to do anything P square for weeks. Peter relocated taking his wife and kids from the mansion they both lived years and accommodated their extended family in. A lawyer was also involved to help split their fortune as they were both involved in joint ventures over the years

After dating for seven years, Peter Okoye got engaged to his long time girlfriend, Titilola Loretta Omotayo. Omotayo is a marketing representative. The couple are already parents to son Cameron and daughter Aliona. On 17 November 2013, the two held their traditional wedding at The Ark in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. Public figures who attended the wedding include Aliko Dangote, Emmanuel Adebayor, Kate Henshaw, Genevieve Nnaji, Rukky Sanda, Folorunsho Alakija, May D, Toke Makinwa, Dr SID, Don Jazzy, and Karen Igho among others.

Paul Okoye met Anita Isama in 2004 while attending the University of Abuja. Their son Andre was born 11 April 2013 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The couple married on Saturday, 22 March 2014 at the Aztech Arcum Events Centre in Port Harcourt.

In January 2014, the Okoye brothers bought mansions next door to one another in Atlanta
Their worth is said to be the highest in the Nigeria music industry, but if split they are not the richest.
And peter is also known for posting sexy pictures of himself online flaunting his six packs and body structure.

Michael Collins Ajereh was born in Umuahia and hail from Delta state. His family moved to Ajegunle city in Lagos state where he was raised, and graduated from Federal Government College Lagos. Michael Had always had a flair for music singing and playing the drums from the age of four. He developed a passion for the bass guitar at the age of 12, he went on study Business Management at the Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma in Edo state. He moved to London in the United Kingdom in 2000 after his Uncle invited him to come play the drums for the neighbourhood Church.

Various odd jobs followed including working at McDonalds and as a security guard. Already imbued with an intimate knowledge of traditional and percussion instruments, Don Jazzy further built on his musical knowledge during his UK stint. Finding fellow kindred sprits in the likes of Solek, JJC, Kas, The 419 squad and D'Banj, the gang would spend unrelenting hours practising, recording and performing different types of music.

His appetite for a full-time career in music could no longer be satiated when, in 2004, he partnered with D'Banj to set up the Mo' Hits label. Within two years, the prolific producer had wrapped up two albums (No Long Thing and Rundown/Funk You Up) with his former Mo' Hits partner and was working on a third, Curriculum Vitae.
